An afternoon of mid-june
Thick and laden mango groves
Resonate with lovely koel’s croon.
Hand-fans flick the scalding lu, while
On the window-sill pigeons buzz their tune.
Unaffected chatter of running children
Clamoring for their favorite Ice-cone.
